Most projects Romijn Research and Development (RRD) carries out at this point in time are in the area of Higher Education and Vocational Education and Training. As an example some of our ongoing projects are listed below. Just follow their link to read more.

  • Liberia YES Programme:
    By order of the World Bank and the Liberian Government and consultancy firm Transtec, Belgium, RRD will be engaged in the Skills Development Program of Liberia, Africa. The program is aimed at financing skills development activities with the aim of stimulating further development of the country.
  • Results Oriented Monitoring in Central, South and South-East Asia:
    RRD –by order of ECORYS- is involved in Result Oriented Monitoring exercises throughout Asia. Mid 2011 one such Monitoring project has been carried out in Pakistan. In 2012 projects in Vietnam and Bangladesh are foreseen. RRD will be engaged in these kind exercises until 2014. ROMs are executed by order of the European Commission, EuropeAID cooperation office,
  • Evaluation of Norwegian Assistance to Afghanistan from 2001- 2010:
    RRD by order of ECORYS and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is involved in the evaluation of Norwegian Assistance to Afghanistan. RRD is responsible for the review of the Afghan Education Sector. A team of six has done field work in Afghanistan in October and November 2011, 3 international consultants and 3 Afghan.
  • Evaluation of the Dutch Academic Fellowship programme:
    The Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs has assigned the evaluation of the Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP) 2002-2010 to ECORYS. RRD has covered Bangladesh as one of the countries where this programme has been implemented.
